Practice Makes Perfect...Eventually I'm hoping!

Managed to get some practice in while on a hike on the Lochnagar. I know I need a lot of practics and so here goes! While I try develop my composition skills, next on the list of developing: technical skills especially at speed!

I find shooting in nature so wonderful and calming. The sheer beauty of it all is awe inspiring. Not to mention I get to take lots of photos of my dog Argus!

That being said, I have been wanting to develop my skills at portrait photography, though it is possibly something I find the absolutely most awkward and nerve-wracking! So if I come asking you to put aside the awkwardness: please help!
